Italy's Deputy Health Minister Sandra Zampa bluntly stated in an interview that Serie A must be suspended when as many as 14 people in the Genoa team have been diagnosed with the new crown virus.
After Palin and Schone were diagnosed with the new crown last week, Genoa officials confirmed on Monday that as many as 14 people in their team tested positive for the new crown, including 8 players.
"When there are so many confirmed cases, the league must be suspended. If the game continues, others may be infected." Italy's Deputy Health Minister Sandra Zampa said.
"Reopen the stadium? The Science and Technology Committee is totally opposed to allowing fans to return to the stadium. We have already conveyed this view."
